Our aim is to promote understanding and to support the installation of Changing Places Toilets and Hygiene Rooms worldwide, ensuring users of Changing Places be assured that their needs will be met wherever they are visiting or working.
We seek to share our knowledge on the lastest applicable standards as well as help guide relevant bodies, associations and groups with our experience and knowledge of our trustees and members.
As well as our Global Map, our members benefit and contribute to global case studies and contacts (often with international standing) that can help facilitate progress within individual territories. Our members and trustees regularly speak at conferences and seminars worldwide on Changing Places and fully accessible toilets.
Our community of members span the world and provide input as well as advice on all aspects of Changing Places. An active and valuable community of movers and shakers across the world. Talk to us about becoming a member.
Education, Resources and Community are at the heart of our campaign to ensure Changing Places are installed in as many countries, in as many environments as reasonably possible.
Changing Places Toilets International was founded in 2019, by James Stuart Smith, Ross Hovey and Jean Hewitt, three leading thinkers in accessibility, all from different areas of expertise with industry, legislative and user backgrounds.
