Since January 2021 Changing Places have to be included in nearly all sizeable public facing buildings. From cinema, to shopping malls to airports or train stations the changes to Building Regulations have been seismic in terms of the amount of Changing Places being installed. On December 7th, 2020 the 100th Toiletten für Alle "Toilet for Everyone" or Changing Places was opened in Germany. In the competence center for barrier-free living in Munich, the Pure Life Foundation presented the “Toilets for Everyone” seal of quality to the architect Yaelle Barhana from district work.
Congratulations to the Victoria State Government in Australia in investing another $2.5 million (AU$) to expand Victoria’s Changing Places network. Local councils and not-for-profit community organisations across the state are encouraged to apply for Grants of up to $110,000 AU$ .

The UK Government has confirmed today that Local Government can now apply to opt in to receive a portion of the £30m Government funding pot for new Changing Places toilets in England. The UK Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government issued a press release this week confirming that District and Unitary Authorities have until 26th September to apply. Funding for at least one Changing places Toilet per authority will then be allocated from October 2021, with the specific amount awarded being based on the number of expressions of interest received, the number of Changing places toilets, and geographical spread.
